Research Interests

  • Synthesis of dendrimers with orthogonally reactive tethers for attachment of therapeutics used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
  • Passive targeting of pannus tissue with macromolecules through the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect
  • Development of a pannus model that incorporates relevant cell types and biomechanical stimulation
  • Elucidation of rheumatoid arthritis pathogenesis using multiplex protein assays
  • Drug mechanism of biologic and synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs)
